Ring inlaid with a V shape inlay of Black Jade
and a small square of Silicon
This ring is inlaid with a "V" shaped piece of Black Jade and a small square of Silicon in the center.
To inlay a V shape into the top of a ring which is curved is very difficult. I used special carving tools and diamond files to get a nice fit.
This jeweler also wanted a small square inlay of Silicon fitted in the crotch of the V.
Inlaying a piece like this is a lot of work but the finished product makes for a ring with a very striking appearance.
