Many years ago I was contacted by Tiffany & Co. to carve 2 prototypes for a design they were working on.
They wanted them carved into heart shaped donuts. They wanted one to be carved in red Jasper and the other one to be carved from clear Quartz.
At left you see the slab of Red Jasper that I used to carve the heart shape piece
This is the finished donut heart shape carved from red Jasper.
I also carved the same shape in clear Quartz
