Denton Anderson graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1976 as a Graduate Gemologist in Residence.

Denton has 30 years of cutting experience. He learned to cut from James Stradley of Stradley Lapidary and also worked for Ron DuFault Lapidary before starting Denver GemCutting Company in 1985.

I like to ski and climb the mountains of Colorado to recharge my batteries after long hours of gem cutting. I also enjoy photography and manage to get a few good pictures along the way. Below are a few shots from some recent adventures.
